House Crest Design Competition
Entries for the house crest designs have now closed. We received over 60 designs across the four houses which displayed excellent talent and artistic skills. Designs that met the required specifications earned 50 points for their house total. Designs will be reviewed over the holidays, and house leaders will now meet with student leaders to collectively decide on the final design for their house crest. Total house points and the winners will be announced when we return in Term 4.
Sports-for-schools Coles Online
We have received our Sports-for-Schools Supplies. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the program and collected vouchers.
Term 3 Sport Wrap Up
Congratulations to all of the sport teams that went out during term 3 and to the following teams who won at their Knox Division competition this term and will be competing in Eastern Metropolitan Region events during term 4.

Knox Division Athletics
On Friday 14th September, 110 students represented Wantirna College at the 2018 Knox Athletics Carnival. The team was made up of students who were successful in placing 1st or 2nd in events at the House Athletics Carnival. Students competed against other schools in the Knox Division with the aim of progressing through to the Region Carnival and earned points towards the overall school total. A special highlight was winning nine relay events out of 12 events. An amazing team effort!
After all the events were ran and won, Wantirna College came out as Knox Athletics Champions. Wantirna finished on 1464 points, a huge 501 points ahead of the nearest school.
Congratulations to all the students especially the 62 students who will now represent the college at the Eastern Metropolitan Region Carnival on Friday 12th October (Term 4).
