Riders can enter more than one horse. Each horse can only be entered in one class

BBQ Tea $5.00 per head
All families are asked to bring a Cake or Slice to share

VENUE
All events will be held at The Hamilton and Alexandra College Equestrian Centre. All Parking to be within the Equestrian Centre.
Jumping in the Rubber Arena – Start time to be 4.00pm (Finish time will be determined by number of entries)
Handymount near the undercover yards: 4pm – 5pm
HELPERS
Helpers are required to help run the event. Please contact Amanda te Boekhorst with the task you are able to assist with, thank you.
HOUSE TEAMS
All riders’ scores will count towards their House results. The total points earned by House Teams will then be divided by the number of competitors in the House.
- Gear check required before competing in showjumping and handymount. Incorrect gear may result in Elimination.
- All competitors will be required to wear a Medical Armband, EFA safety approved helmet, boots, jodhpurs and house sports shirt. A house-coloured jumper is encouraged as are coloured saddlecloths and browbands.
*Jodhpurs – beige, banana, mango or cream.
*Boots – short, under 18 yrs / long, optional 18 yrs and over.
- A horse may be ridden by two competitors if it is hired by more than one horsemanship student and with the permission of Miss te Boekhorst or the horses’ owner.
- A student may ride more than one horse in the same or different classes. However as there are limited riders in each class riders will need to accept that rides on each horse may be very close together and both horses should be warmed up before the class.
GEAR CHECK
Medical Armbands must be worn at all times when mounted
Jumping: Bits and boots as per normal jumping rules.
Handymount – snaffle bit, no whip or spurs
CAMPING
Limited overnight camping and horse yards ($10.00 per horse per night) are available on request.
LIABILITY
Neither The Hamilton and Alexandra College, its employees or representatives accept any liability for any accidents, damage, injury to horses, owners, riders, grooms, officials, spectators, ground or any other person or property whatsoever.
RESERVATION
The Organisers reserve the right:
- To cancel any class or the event
- To divide any class
- To alter the advertised times
- To refuse any entry with or without stating the reason
- To alter the horse’s class within its grading
- To combine any classes
