Unveiling of the SBOCA Military Honour Roll

The St Bede's Old Collegians Association (SBOCA) warmly invites you to attend the unveiling of our new military to honour members of the St Bede's College community who have served our country in the Army, Navy and Air Force.

Date: Friday 28 October, 2022

Arrival Time: 10.30am (for an 11.00am start)

Meeting Point: St Bede’s College - Mentone Campus, Brother Peter McIntosh Hall

The morning will begin with the unveiling of the Honour Board, which will take place in the Brother Peter McIntosh Hall, with coffee, tea and nibbles provided. At approximately 11.30am, guests will be encouraged to move to the Mentone RSL for lunch, with lunch served at 12.00pm.

Old Collegian, Geoff Hatherley, has spent the year connecting with past students, over 70 of whom have shared their stories of time served in the Army, Navy and Airforce. The Honour Roll will reflect those who attended St Bede’s College from its' foundation (1938) through to present day, and will continue to be updated well into the future.

As some of you would be aware, there is an existing Honour Board housed in the Chapel at Mentone Campus, dedicated to those who served in the Second World War. This will remain in situ out of respect.

Class of 1981 & 1982 - 40 year reunion

The evening will begin at 6.00pm in the Function Room at St Bede’s College, Mentone Campus, and conclude at the Mentone RSL. This is the perfect event to reminisce, with the chance to explore the updated College facilities.

Food and beverages will be provided throughout the evening, with a slideshow showcasing the best photos from your years at the College running throughout the evening.
