Week 1 Highlights
This week our Junior and Intermediate Chess teams took part in the ACC Championships at Parade College. The Intermediate team were Division II Champions! (results below)

Sporting highlights for Week 1 include:
- Our 7's making a great start to their ACC summer sports winning their Cricket, Tennis and Volleyball matches
- A dominant performance by our Year 8 Cricket side winning by 123 runs in a T20
The 2023 Senior Tennis team is looking strong after a dominant performance from our Year 10's on Tuesday. Special mention to Josh Grunberg and Tom Gregory coming back from 0 - 4 to win their doubles match.
Week 2 Highlights
- The first ‘Battle of Bede’s’ - Mentone vs Bentleigh East Campus - in Year 10 Cricket, Tennis and Volleyball. Mentone secured the victory in three of the four matches
- A nail biting finish to the Year 10 Cricket, where Mentone held their nerves with the ball in the final few overs

Week 3 Highlights
- St Bede's College winning 15 of 17 matches for the week, including a ‘perfect’ day on Tuesday in Year 9 and 10 ACC Sport
- All Cricket and Tennis teams winning their games
- Jett Kelly forcing students to take cover on the Front Oval with his big hitting in Year 10 Cricket; great coaching by Mr Parton
Only two more home and away games before finals commence, where we should have plenty of teams participating!
