Public Speaking
Federal Parliaments Youth Speech Competition
Lewis Desmond was selected as one of five National finalist for the Federal Parliaments Youth Speech Competition. Lewis was the only Victorian Finalist in his category, and presented his speech on 'Why Australia should lower the voting age'.
The Australia-wide competition was eligible to any student enrolled in Year 10, 11 or 12. Entries were first shortlisted by staff from the Department of the House of Representatives, with shortlisted entries then given to a judging panel, who made the final decision.
Lewis did an incredible job representing our College and our community. Well done!
