Term 4

Welcome to Term 4. Term 3 was a busy and exciting term full of creativity, learning and exploring. In Science and Technology we learned about the earth, sun and moon and how we go from night to day. In History we went back to the beginnings of Australia as a nation and investigated life in Australia for the Indigenous peoples and the arrival of the first European explorers. We took a trip to Paris in English by exploring our texts A Lion in Paris and A Walk in Paris. We researched Parisian landmarks for informative texts and used our imaginations to write creative stories about life in Paris. Term 3 had a particularly large focus on consolidating addition and subtraction strategies and introducing multiplication and its relationship with division during Mathematics. We continued to participate in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program, the mini chefs whipped up all sorts of healthy and delicious snacks learning great new skills in the kitchen but also in having a go and trying something new. Here is a quick run down of our topics that we will be learning about in Term 4…
