This Term our Year 1 students have been working hard on levelling up their writing.  We have been learning to use a capital letter & full stop in each sentence, include more detail using the 5Ws of who, what, when, where and why when writing a recount and even include higher tiered vocabulary words to make our readers say “wow!” 

We have become recount writing experts, explored facts in information reports, shared crazy adventures through narratives and we are now becoming artists of poetry.  Check out some of our writing below!
