DRESS UP DAY - Friday 28th October

Dress up in your fancy costumes or favourite outfit. Dress up as much or as little as you want. Themes include: Spring, Halloween, Carnival, your favourite colour,  or just about anything or everything you want.

SMPPS SPRING PICNIC - Friday 4th November

The weather is warming up, Spring is here and things are getting back to "normal". We'd love for families to join us for a Spring Picnic at the Coot Picnic Area next to Albert Park Lake. Bring your picnic rug, food and drink for an after school play at the park.

When: Friday 4th November 

Time: After school 

Where: Coot Picnic Area, Albert Park - diagonally across from the back of the school next to Albert Park Lake

We're looking for volunteers to assist with a sweet treats stall and other tasks. If you have some time before the event to help with some planning tasks please get in touch. More information to come.

Please note, if you were a member in 2021, your annual membership has now expired, and you will need to renew this by paying your membership fee. 

Every member matters, as we work together to ensure a brighter future for our school. 

We are having a casual catch up for our next meeting to discuss the last few events, the students and future events and fundraising.

Working with Children & Police Checks

To help out at any of our events throughout the year, School's require all volunteers to have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check. WWC checks are free to complete and are valid for 5 years. To complete yours, simply fill out the form online at:

Volunteers who handle money transactions at any of our events will also require a current Police Check. Police checks will incur a fee and will need to be renewed every 3 years. You can apply for a Police Check online at the following websites:

The School needs to keep a copy of any checks or certificates on file at the school. Once completed, these checks/certificates can be emailed directly to the School or copied at the office.

SCHOOL COOKBOOK – Through the Seasons with Kids at Heart

To support our fundraising efforts, please make sure you purchase one of our delightful cookbooks! A must-have for all our families and friends. 

Cost: $35 (with discounts for orders of 3 or more copies). All proceeds will go towards the SMPPS Families & Friends fundraising fund.

Order and payment via QKR or eftpos at the office.
