IMPORTANT INFORMATION 

FOR SACRED HEART FAMILIES

SMALL SCHOOLS PUBLIC SPEAKING 

The Annual Small Schools Public Speaking Competition (hosted by Boggabri Rotary Club) will be held next Wednesday 19th October. We look forward to hearing everyone's speeches and wish all students the best of luck.

All are welcome to come and watch the competition. There will be a cafe operating as part of the Year 6 fundraising efforts.

 

SOCKTOBER

Socktober is an annual fundraiser for Catholic Missions and is held each October. During this time fundraisers are held at the school to as part of our contribution to Catholic Missions. This year we will participate in the following events and ask that students bring in a gold coin donation for each event:

 

Friday 14 October - mufti day (gold coin donation)

Friday 21 October - coin trail (please bring in any coins that you have from home so students can make the longest trail).

Friday 28 October - crazy sock and hair day (gold coin donation)

NEW SCHOOL SYSTEM

Our new finance system (TechOne) has just been rolled out into our school. This has been incorporated with Compass.

What does this means for parents?

  • School Fees will now be emailed to parents and can be paid in the following ways.
    • On the Compass App
    • By BPay (reference on Statement) 
      • You can no longer make payment direct to our bank account (EFT) however, if you still wish to pay it as a scheduled payment, you can do this through BPay
    • Over the counter (cash/cheque/EFTPOS)

We ask that you please be patient during this transition period. I'm sure we will have a few teething problems so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Robyn at the Office who will try to answer any queries that you have.

 

 SCHOOL FEES

A friendly reminder that Term 3 School Fees were due on Friday 16 September. Please refer to the information above to make payment. As always, if you are having trouble making payment, please don't hesitate to contact myself or Robyn to set up a confidential meeting.

 

Term 4 School Fees will be distributed in Week 3.
