                                                MONEY AND FINANCIAL MATTERS grade  3/4

Over the past few weeks we have been learning all about Australian Currency. We have researched on the history of Australian Currency and shared our own knowledge. We have learnt about the value of the coins and notes that we use in Australia. The students have been learning how to use addition and subtraction to calculate total amounts and find the change for simple transactions. We then looked percentages and how to calculate amounts with discounts when shopping.
