Interview with Mr Marashli

Interview With Mr Jameel Marashli - Year 1D
How Long Have You Worked At BNPS?
I have been a Classroom Teacher at BNPS for 2 full years and currently in my third. Before that I was working at our OSHC and as a Casual Relief Teacher.
Who inspires you?
There are a lot of people who I aspire to be like. There was one teacher that I had in primary school that really inspired me to get into education, Mr Cameron Cook. He was my Year 6 teacher and I hope that I can be as much of an influence for my students as he was for me.
What is your favourite thing to do on the weekends?
I love to camp and be outdoors. So, when I can't camp, I will be out at national parks doing hikes and enjoying the serenity of nature.
If you weren’t a Teacher what do you think you might be doing?
I have a bachelor's degree in digital media design, which I still design things in my spare time. So, I guess I would be a designer, but teaching is way more fun!
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
I am a bit of both, I am more a night owl though.
What might someone be surprised to know about you ?
I think people would be surprised to find out that I was a student at BNPS. Oh, I am also an identical triplet.
What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?
I saw a group of puppies playing at the park and I don't think I've stopped smiling.
If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would you choose ?
Hugh Jackman, he is cool and seems very humble. Plus, he is a superhero!
What would you like to say to your class?
Thank you for making my job the best in the world! You are awesome 1D!
