Monday 10th August: Book week creative writing competition opens - 500 words on the topic 'Curious Creatures Wild Minds' - Entries must be received by Monday October 19th 3.30 p.m. - email entries to me at Ingrid.Marshall@education.vic.gov.au

Monday 19th October: Middle School 7 - 10 Popular Fiction Kahoot. Gain HOUSE POINTS for using your literary knowledge! (Meet in EG1 at lunchtime) with Student Leaders

Tuesday 20th October: Book Character Dress Up (Book Donation)
A book character dress up will require thedonation of a book, rather than the usual gold coin.Drop them off in the MFG library in the specially marked box at the Library entrance. These books will go to the Geelong West Rotary Club for their annual Book Fair. We’ll be excited to see all of your costumes!
Thursday 22nd October: Senior Years 11-12. Popular Fiction Kahoot 1pm in EG1. Gain HOUSE POINTS for using your literary knowledge!
Friday 23rd October: Book Week Creative Writing Competition winners announced at 3 p.m on Compass.
Monday 26th October: EG3 & EG4 (Library) at 1pm lunchtime
Certificate ceremony for all entrants in creative writing competition and prizes awarded to staff and students, group photo @ 1pm - Good Luck everyone. Donated books boxed and presented to Geelong West Rotary Club Representative Ms Freda Wright.

Premier's Reading Challenge 2020
Well done to those students who took part and completed the Premier's Reading Challenge 2020. Our entrants were from years 7 - 9 this year!
