SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM

EUCHARIST

Due to COVID19 restrictions, we  were unable to run the First Eucharist (gr 4) family workshop that was scheduled for Tuesday 23rd June. For those families whose children will be making the Sacrament of First Eucharist this year, a workbook is available for you to work though as a family at home.

The workbook is $20 and is payable via CDFpay. Please make contact with your child's classroom teacher if you want to begin the preparation.  Students will need to have completed the workbook to make the Sacrament of First Eucharist.

The celebration Mass for the Eucharist will not go ahead as scheduled due to the continuing restrictions around gatherings. We will inform you when we are able to celebrate this Mass. 

CONFIRMATION

We have had notification that this year Parish Priests will confer the Sacrament of Confirmation (Gr 6).  At this stage, due to COVID-19, only 20 people are able to attend mass. If restrictions are lifted this term we will set a date for a whole group Confirmation Mass, in consultation with Father Aju.

If restrictions are not lifted by the end of Term 3, we have scheduled two evening masses in the first two weeks of Term 4 (four masses in total). The masses will be held at 6 pm. on Wed/ Thurs 7,8,14,15 October. Limited numbers of family members will be able to attend, 4 to 5 per family including candidate and sponsor.

If you intend for your child to be confirmed, please ensure that you organise and purchase the home preparation program and work through this in readiness. This is $20 payable by  CDFpay.
