News from 3/4

The 3/4s have been spending time this week working on their own projects to explore an aspect of ‘How we express ourselves’. Here are some of our ideas…..

Ollie, Antonino and Heinz

We have been making an animation about being friends. We have made our characters and tested how we can set them out for our final product. We have been trying to improve how we make our characters. Once we started we thought it was going to be hard but we have really enjoyed ourselves.

Flynn and Nik

Nik and I are making a stained glass window for the class. We chose to do this because we wanted to use the cellophane to make a window. We have started cutting out the pieces and we will stick cellophane behind. We have found it hard but enjoyed working together because me and Nik have never worked together for Inquiry.

Maddie

I have been making a story about myself and my personality, my friends and my community. It’s called “The Lifesavers’ and it will be a chapter book. I chose to write a book because I really enjoy imagining the scenes in my head. I have also been helping Heidi with making her documentary. I have been filming and acting.

Louis and Finn

Louis and I are making a Lego stop motion animation. We are using Lego pieces and paper and using a stop motion app. We are enjoying it very much because I like stop motion and Lego. We are also putting in a lot of comedy.

Evie and Pippa

We are doing a collage timeline of a beach. The first part is when aboriginal people lived there, the next one is the arrival of Captain Cook and then settlement. Finally we have modern day and then the future. We are really enjoying this because we are being creative.
