Building Works

We've been busy working over the summer period finalising the plans for the redevelopment of the club rooms. We are making great progress and coming up with some functional designs, although we have encountered some delays in the planning process.

A number of regulatory and compliance audits, in line with the newest building codes, have resulted in some additional design requirements. Further to this one of the many building permits is still to be finalised with the relevant authority.

As a result the building works have been pushed back to the start of May. This means the Clubrooms and Canteen can re-open until then, on limited hours and in accordance with the COVID-19 safe plan that is in place and approved by Boroondara Council.

Thank you in advance for your support and for keeping our Centre a safe environment so that we can all continue to enjoy our hockey activities. Next newsletter we hope to bring you details of the temporary facilities and arrangements that will be in place during the build.

Clubroom and Canteen Opening Times

From 9 March-1 April the clubroom and canteen will reopen:

• Mondays: 6pm-10.30pm
• Tue-Thu: 6pm-9pm
• Fri-Sun: closed
• QR code check is mandatory for everyone who enters the clubroom, including players, spectators and visitors
• Please make use of hand sanitiser stations
• Fitted face masks must be worn indoors, according to COVID-19 advice from Victorian Government
• Max 50 in clubhouse at one time

We have a COVID-19 safe plan in place and approved by Boroondara Council.

Arrangements will be reviewed after Easter.
