SOC School Council

School Council President Report

Like many South Oakleigh College students, School Council returned to online meeting on Tuesday 21 July.  With the return to At-Home-Learning, our student representatives were unable to join us, but we are looking forward to seeing them as soon as we can meet in person once again.  Council spent time during the meeting working on school policies and beginning to review how meetings will operate in the future.

We all recognise the enormous impact of the return to At-Home-Learning for students, and hope that students and families are looking after themselves and staying at home wherever possible.  It is timely to remember to continue to be aware of online safety and looking after your physical and mental health whilst at home.

In recognition of the need to wear masks for students and staff attending onsite classes, School Council has posed with our masks during our online meeting.  We hope students continue to take advantage of the high-quality learning program provided to them, and that all community members stay safe in the very unpredictable times.  Stay safe and take care.
