'Here we go again' Ray Charles

As we return to remote learning students will enjoy switching back to Teams music lessons.

Some feedback from our music students R(Music)LP V1:

“I used to forget when my lesson was but the Teams calendar is always reminding me” Pianist

“Every time I practise I just turn on the recording of my last lesson and play along” Trombonist

“I’ve set up the best home recording studio and its all on my laptop.  I send a recording to my teacher every week” Saxophonist

“My friends and I have been playing duets online” Flautist

“My music stand and instrument are always set-up and ready to go.  I haven’t been late for a music lesson all term” Cellist

“If I forget what to do, I just turn on the recording and take the lesson again or ask my teacher in a chat” Violist

To maximise success during R(Music)LP V2, students are reminded to:

  • check Teams calendar as lessons will be scheduled as calendared meetings according to the Instrumental Music Timetables.

The Teams calendar will provide a snapshot of the learning day and where the instrumental lesson falls.

  • communicate with teachers or the music office in advance if you are unable to attend a lesson.

If you are attending school on campus or unavailable for remote lessons, please let your teacher know.

If there are any concerns with the remote music lesson process please be in contact as soon as possible.
