STUDENT LEADERSHIP CAMP

It was wonderful for our Student Leadership Team to spend some time away together this week at Kinglake, to engage in a high-level leadership growth camp and to develop some action plans for the remainder of 2022. Our students have returned energised and empowered to lead growth and opportunity in our college. A big thank-you to Claire Sullivan for initiating with our students and for leading this wonderful opportunity.

SSV CROSS-COUNTRY

Well done to our students who represented Western Heights at the SSV Cross Country last week. Great results across the board:

STATE SCHOOLS SPECTACULAR

State School Spectacular students have been busy rehearsing each Friday lunchtime trying to perfect 6 intricate dances. They have attended two regional rehearsals hosted in our Quamby gymnasium where Manifold Heights, Herne Hill, Hamlyn Heights, Mandama, Belmont Primary and Northern Bay College attended.  Our students have been lucky enough to learn from multiple choreographers in particular the amazing Hara Papoulias who has performed on Dancing with the Stars and Australia’s Got Talent and worked with Tones and I and Havana.
