First Holy Communion

This Sunday, 19th June,  the Catholic church will celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi. It is a day of great celebration in the church when we give thanks to Jesus for being present in our lives. He is the bread of life who shared himself with the apostles at the Last Supper before He died on the cross. He continues to be present in our lives in this special way each time we go to Mass.

On Sunday eighteen of our students will receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time on this very special feast day.

Please keep the children in your prayers as they take this next step in their faith journey.

After an early lunch (12:45pm – 1:45pm ) we will finish off the day with a movie afternoon.

All movies will be rated G or PG. If you would prefer that your child does not watch a PG rated movie please advise your child’s teacher.
