Mr Irwin's Message
Hello families and welcome to Term 3!
Our students have settled in to an excellent routine of learning already across the school. There’s a lot to get through in this week’s message so lets get into it!
Student Learning Conferences
Friday August 5th are our Student Learning Conferences. These run during the day for 15 minutes for each student. Attendance at this 15 minute timeslot is student’s attendance for the day.
Booking for these sessions is now available via the Sentral Parent Portal. Sessions are available from 8:00am to 4:00pm on a first in best dressed basis. If you are unable to attend on this day please make contact with your child’s teacher to schedule another time to hold this conference.
In the build up to Student Learning Conferences teachers will be working with students on selecting work samples to share and talk about. Please note there won’t be time in this 15 minutes to discuss topics outside the work samples students are sharing. If you have any other items you want to speak with your child’s classroom teacher regarding as always you are very welcome contact them to schedule a time to discuss these.
School Review
This term our school is conducting it’s 4 year school review. This is a legislative requirement that ensures the school is meeting all areas of compliance and also achieving strong performance results.
Part of this review is capturing feedback from families articulating the highlights they have from the past four years. I would love feedback from as many families as possible to be able to articulate to the review panel what makes our school so great in the eyes of our families. It doesn’t matter if this is your tenth year involved in the school, of your first 6 months. We welcome all contributions to the Review Survey.

Face Masks at School
As of yesterday the State Government has announced some changes to public health measures including the recommendation that masks are worn indoors by persons over 8 years old when at school.
Rules regarding household contacts and testing have also changed. The period of time when someone is considered a recently confirmed case and therefore exempt from testing and isolation requirements has been reduced from the previous 12 weeks to 4 weeks.
Please refer to our COVID Information page for further details.
Healthy Lunch Box Choices and Nude Food
Please help reduce waste in our school by packing 'Nude Food' (food without excess packaging) in your child's lunch box. The Healthy Lunch Box Pick & Mix posters below provide some good Nude Food options.
