Please remind your class about:
- SRC Class Meetings and why it is important to have them every week
- Caught being Good certificates- encourage teachers to complete as well
- Recycling- collected every Thursday
- Nude food day every Thursday
- “Fill the van” Mini Vinnies project - donations are needed and there is a basket near the school front office
- Lost property- especially now that it is very cold and collecting lunch boxes from outside

Learning and events in our school this week:
- Lots of learning and finishing projects for our reports and student led conferences
- Students are preparing their presentations for their student led conference
- The drumming and dancing at assembly
- Working on ICT - google sheets and ozbots
- Helping our Prep buddies with their reading
- National Sorry day- “Be Brave, Make a change!”
- Reconciliation week in Year 3/4
- Maths and oral presentations in Year 1/2
- Lots of reading and spelling in Prep

Returning sports equipment before the bell | House Leaders to keep sports shed clean and all the equipment tidy- Filling in when someone is away to work as a team Also to remind students to pack away giant chess and checkers - Poster?? | |
Checking sandpit and play equipment that it is not too wet/slippery | Keeping safe on the play equipment and NO running on the adventure playground | |
Soccer | The soccer field is to be kept in two half sections - goals should not be moved. If students are playing in the soccer area remind them of the other areas they can go and play- so they are not going to get hurt and interfere with the older students | |
No tissues or plastic in the recycling bins | Tissues/ plastic in bin Encourage the use of hand sanitizer after people use tissues to prevent the spread of germs |
SRC Representative ACTIONS for this week
School Leaders and SRC will be looking out for students ‘Caught Being Good’.
They will be nominating students who are responsible, respectful and ready to learn.
Discuss what these qualities look like.
Respectful - listening, waiting turn, walking through corridor quietly, greeting/speaking to people politely
Responsible - throwing rubbish in the bin, picking up rubbish, returning sports equipment, helping others, kindness
Ready to Learn - listening to the speaker, having materials ready for learning, being on time in class or at school.
