Principal's News

Mr Rodrigues

Dear Families,

We have had a wonderful week here at Trinity which ended with a very special assembly on Friday. As well as the usual amazing sharing of learning, which this week was done by our Prep CD class, we gave out our class awards, birthday celebrations and 'Caught being Good' certificates followed by a spectacular demonstration from our African Drumming and Dancing lunch time club. Even many of our parents were lucky enough to be included in the dancing and I thank them for their willingness and enthusiasm.

On a performing note.

Auditions have begun!

On Wednesday of this week, Ms Stanton and Ms Georgia set themselves up in the MPR to begin audtioning for our school production which will be held next term. By the look of their list of names it appears there is no shortage of 'want to be' actors, dancers and singers all eager to share their talent in the hope of winning a lead role in our production. Congratulations to all our parents for instilling this enthusiasm and confidence, it is so great to see children putting themselves forward in this way.

Prayer: Hidden Treasures

God of love, open our eyes to see your hand at work in the splendour of creation, in the beauty of human life. Touched by your hand our world is holy. Help us to cherish the gifts that surround us, to share your blessings with our brothers and sisters, and to experience the joy of life in your presence. Through Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Road Safety

As we are all aware our children's safety is of paramount importance and it is very important that we all set good examples for them. Our crossing man has asked that we remind all parents and children to use the crossing on Davison Street.

Could I also ask that all parents use the Kent Street exit after school unless they are going to the office to see Julie.

SPS Speech Box

'Welcome to the second SPS “speech box’ for the year.  This speech box considers the types of questions you can ask your child to elicit information.  Each speech box will cover a different topic and provide information and suggestions for things you can do at home to support your child with their learning.'

Photographer:

Last Tuesday we had hoped to have a photographer at school to take some fresh new photos for our school brochures, website and advertising material. Unfortunately the photographer had to cancel at the last minute but we are hoping to reschedule next week. We will let you know which day to ensure allchildren are looking their best and in correct school uniform.

Congratulations

To all of our Cross Country runners who braved the cold this morning to participate in the Division Cross Country after their success at the Districts.  Well Done, Lavenia W, Edie T,

Nicolai G, and Cam G-S we are all very proud of your efforts in representing Trinity Primary School.

2023 Enrolments: Spread the word!

Word of Mouth.

Earlier this year I asked all of our new Prep parents to complete a short survey in relation to their reasons for choosing Trinity Primary School for their child.  It would be great to get some feedback from parents of children in other year levels to help us plan for and introduce ideas to keep Trinity on the top of peoples lists when thinking about school for their Kinder children. I have included a link here to a survey which should only take a few minutes but will be extremely helpful for our marketing team.
