Ride-A-Thon
On Friday 15 March, boarding held the annual Ride-A-Thon to raise money for the Asthma Foundation. The Senior leaders organised a few surprises for the evening. Read more in the Endeavour House Leader article.
Greens Pool
On the weekend of Week Seven, Mr Paul Rogers returned as a GSG boarding staff member to supervise at Greens Pool. He shared his knowledge of the area and the conditions before boarders took the plunge.
Snake Run
On Sunday of Week Eight, a group of Anchorage and Michaelmas students took a trip to the Snake Run to test out their scooter and skating skills. The Snake Run holds a lot of history for Albany, opening in 1976. Footage of the history and opening ceremony of the Snake Run can be found here
Stand-Up Paddle Boarding
Stand-up paddle boarding has become a popular recreation activity this term. Boarders enjoyed a calm morning on the Kalgan river paddling before returning to boarding for lunch.
Fishing
Anchorage boarders had some success on Sunday of Week Nine while fishing on the Kalgan River.
