End of Term One
As first term comes to an end and the last of the academic assessments are written this week, the girls are ready for their break. We have had an eventful half term at school. A number of boarders participated in the recent Cafe Jamm and it is always a pleasure to see how many girls come along to support their friends. On the weekend, Mrs Scott put on an Easter egg hunt for those in, as well as a scrumptious afternoon tea.
The girls have had some struggles with their 2019 commitments and academic demands. I advise them to have a restful break and take some time to plan out their Term Two calendar, allowing for balance and wellbeing.
I wish you all an enjoyable and safe Easter break. For those going on various school tours, have fun and I look forward to hearing all about it next term.

Year Twelve Ball
On Saturday 9 March the Year Twelve group attended their formal ball. The night was full of beautiful moments, with people expressing their individuality through gorgeous suits and gowns and their epic dance moves. It was awesome to see our Year Twelve group accompanied by old friends who we hadn’t seen for so long. After many months of preparation, it was beautiful to see how it all came together. It made all of the hours of effort worth it. Sharing this unforgettable experience with such a special group of people was so gratifying. The beautiful photos taken will be cherished forever, and I am so thankful for everyone who was involved in creating such a memorable night.

Cafe Jamm
My first Café Jamm was really exciting. It was really well set up and most of the crowd seemed to enjoy it. The songs were well-executed and everyone seemed to be having a jam! Hopefully, the next Cafe Jamm will be even better, and now that my class knows what we are up against to fight for the precious spots available for Radio Active, we know we are going to have to keep on Jamming.
