In all areas of the school we are focusing on Throwing and Catching.

Throwing – Single handed Underarm and Overarm using a variety of round balls of varying size and texture.

Students can practise throwing a ball at a target, to a partner, to themselves using any of the above mentioned methods. This can be done over varying distances for accuracy and power.

Catching variations include

Prep, 1 & 2 Activity: Character Development

Watch one of their favourite TV shows.

Choose a character from the show.

With your child discuss and write down words that best describe that character.

Then write down 4 simple sentences that the character would say.

Student is then to practice becoming the character and saying the lines you wrote together.

Make sure they work on their movement, facial expressions and voice to represent the character the best that they can.

You may also like to film it and put it onto their google drive.

3/4 Student may decide to complete either a Character development activity or Artist Project.
