Multicultural Day

To all Families, Students & Teaching and Supporting Staff!

That was a great Multicultural Day!!!

Yes!

We really enjoyed it!

The students embraced the spirit of the day with great enthusiasm, and so many parents popped in to deliver the most amazing samples of food for our students to share in their classes. It was also great to see many grandparents at our assembly, we hope they were able to feel the Multicultural atmosphere of our school and to be proud of their grandchildren. One more thank you to our GelatiMan Tristan who can’t wait to unload the next cargo of ice-creams! It’s an ever-growing challenge in an ever-growing school, but he can do it!  Thank you to Barkly Street IGA for donating the ice-creams!

Also we are happy to report some comments from all the dancers who were impressed with the students’ level of engagement and with their kind manners! They will be keen to come back at FWPS, and we may have re-discovered the magic of singing and dancing, which are directly linked with …feeling happy!

A big thank you to the cleaners who had to stay back and work harder than usual, to the guys who make sure you are safely crossing the road, to the TheirCare crew who are looking after our students after school, to the angels in the office, Natalie, Sandra, and Yvonne for the smooth organisation, to our handy man and problem-solver Taleb for assisting with every practical detail, to the ES staff for helping out in every possible way, to the FWPS staff and leaders for being flexible and creative and to the Multicultural Specialists Party for coordinating the event.

A good memory like a Multicultural day will help all of us to smile while tackling the common challenge of these days.   As that seems to have been our last big gathering for a while, we wish everyone the patience and collaboration needed to overcome the virus,  problems and every possible obstacle in the way of our next Festa!

Till then, “ Buona Fortuna”, Good Luck!
