Principal's Report

Thank you for a great term

As this is the last newsletter for Term 2, I would like to take the time to thank the Kalinda school community for welcoming me so warmly into the school. Having the opportunity to get to know how the school operates and build relationships with the students, staff and parents has been highly rewarding. I am really looking forward to working collaboratively to continue to take our school from strength to strength.

Throughout this term I have had the chance to learn about Kalinda's culture of resilience, respect and kindness and some of the highlights have been:

-School Cross Country Carnival

-Highland Dancing Concert

-School Disco

-Parent Information Sessions on Maths, THRASS and Sex Education

-Yr 6 Reunion Night

-1/2 Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Incursion and Excursion

Enrol by the end of June

Please ensure all enrolment forms for Foundation in 2020 are lodged at the office by the end of June. 

School Disco

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who made the School Disco an incredibly safe and enjoyable event for our students. With over 420 students attending the disco and more than 60 volunteers contributing to the night, the event really showed a great side of Kalinda's community.

Thank you also to all the families who made such an effort with costumes for their children.
