Emmanuel College
- Students and staff attended the St Vincent de Paul Winter Sleep Out last Friday night. In freezing conditions, they experienced the difficult reality of sleeping outside during a Melbourne winter and raised vital funds to support homelessness services. Our Year 10 students attended Work Experience this week, gaining incredibly valuable insights into future careers and pathways. Our Year 9 students spent three fruitful days with their teachers on their Marvellous Melbourne Project, participating in an excursion into Melbourne and culminating in a Melbourne tourism campaign.
- Best wishes for all success to our Year 10s as take part in this week’s work experience program in a range of industries and professions. The program provides students with a great opportunity to experience the challenges and benefits of the world of work and contemplate decisions regarding courses of study in their senior years and their career direction beyond.
- A reminder that the closing date for applications for Year 7 in 2021 is Friday 23 August 2019 and that applications are required for any siblings.

OSHclub
On last day of term, Friday 28 June, OSH will commence 1:30pm.
Outside of School Hours (OSH) care (Before and After School Care) is provided by OSHclub, on site at Queen of Peace Primary School. Children must be pre-registered on line to attend. More information can be found by clicking this link OSHclub . Many families are eligible for Child Care Subsidy, which reduces the out of pocket cost of outside school hours care. To establish what level of CCS you may be entitled to please contact the Centrelink Family Assistance Office on 13 61 50.

Cancellations: 48 hours' notice is required for cancellation of a Before or After School booking.
Cancellations can only be made through the following means:
- Online - Log into your account at oshclub.com.au
- Phone - Contact the customer service and billing team on 1300 395 735
- Text - SMS the Coordinator of the program on 0421 287 254 and include all details: child's name, date and session you wish to cancel.

Autism Art Project
Toshi Handa is an artist living in Melbourne. He will be holding an art exhibition in the Library at The Dock in Melbourne from 17 July – 8 August that supports people with disability. He himself has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and has organised this art exhibition in order to bring about further awareness to the community.
