A message from the P&F President

As we are at the official halfway mark of the school year, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for getting behind and supporting the P&F events held in the first half of the year. The P&F are looking forward to the events planned for the last half of the year. There are some new fundraisers thrown into the mix which are detailed below.

The Coon Toastie Truck fundraiser is one of these new events. This week an order form went home with all children as the Coon Toastie Truck will be at school on Monday 29th June. This  fundraiser will be an opportunity for children to purchase a warm  toasted cheese sandwich for lunch on the day. Toasties are $3 each with all proceeds going to the school. To ensure your child doesn’t miss out, the order form and correct money should be returned to the school by Wednesday 17th July.

The annual School Disco will be held on Friday 9th August. Notes will be distributed in the coming week.  So lock the date in for what is usually a highlight of the year for the kids.

The Fathers Day Stall will be held on the Thursday 29th August. So please pencil the date in your diary if you would like to volunteer to help at the stall.

The P&F are also excited to announce that QOP will be hosting a colour fun run on the evening of Friday 18th October. This will be a community event, where families are encouraged to run / walk with their children. We are hoping to have food trucks on site to add to the festivities, however families are welcome to bring their own picnic along. There will be more to come on this event next term.
