Carpentry Apprenticeship – 1st Year

XANVIC is a construction company with standout experience in project management and construction development.  Recognised for precision and efficient work, XANVIC has extensive experience in luxury homes, large scale residential and commercial construction management, house extensions, heritage building and remedial services.  

You must have:

  • Minimum of Year 10 schooling
  • Current driver’s licence Ps or Full
  • OHS White card – this can be organised by the company
  • Own transport
  • A keen and enthusiastic work ethic and enjoys working as part of a team

You must be:

  • Physically fit
  • Motivated and have a willingness to learn and continue improving your skills
  • Prepared to travel within the Sydney metropolitan area
  • Willing to work on Saturdays if required

Duties:  During the apprenticeship, a range of tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Medium to high-end residential building works
  • Internal carpentry fitout
  • Conventional framing and roof framing

You will be gaining:

  • On the job training with an experienced builder/carpenter
  • Full-time employment and be paid to learn
  • Start your career
