Reading Program at Our Lady of Dolours

Program starts in Term 2 - Week 4  to  Week 8.  Two sessions a week - 10 sessions in total.   Dates as below:

• MAY:  Monday 20, Tuesday 21, Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 May
• JUNE:  Monday 3, Tuesday 4, Monday 10, Tuesday 11, Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 June
• Number of  St Pius X Students needed to assist:   14
• When?    Mondays & Tuesdays -  8.15 am (sharp)  to 8.40 am
• Where?   Rooms 7 & 8 ( upstairs ) at OLD

Supervision will be from both schools.

There will be a meeting on Monday 13 May at 8.00am at OLD Primary School. If you are interested please meet at 7:55 in St Pius X foyer and we will arrive at OLD together. The meeting is for us to introduce ourselves to each other, explain how the program is run, answer any questions we may have and to hand out resources that will assist Year 10 students with the program.

Maths skills sessions are offered in C1 on a daily basis

Da Vinci Decathlon

Meetings continue Thursday lunchtimes:

• Years 7 and 8 in LC1
• Years 9,10 and 11 in B10

After-school Study Program 

This is a time for any student to apply to their studies. It is usually available three afternoons per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30pm – 4:30pm.  

Volunteer Readers and Writers

This is a rewarding and invaluable service for students. If you are interested in assisting with reading and writing needs of students for examinations please contact AGunns@stpiusx.nsw.edu.au.
