NIAS 2019 Rugby Tour

Lucas Thornton & Harry Partridge

Congratulations to our Year 7 students Lucas and Harry who recently toured New Zealand with NIAS for Rugby in the school holidays. Lucas was named Team Captain in Christchurch.

Whilst in New Zealand the boys had the opportunity to tour the Crusaders training facilities and met Owen Franks, Tom Sanders & Brayden Ennor. The team also experienced Jet Boating, Go Karting and the Adrenalin Forest

before finishing off the last night at a Maori Village where they did the Haka and enjoyed a Hangi for dinner. It was an amazing week of Rugby with plenty of friendships formed and many lifetime memories made.

Great job Ben Harris (yr 8), Bronze at the NSW State Men’s Championships at Level 6 - and a new skill on floor.

Hockey

Congratulations to Tyler McCann for his selection in the NSW State u15 Indoor Hockey team. Hayden Schumacher and Ethan Schumacher have made a shadow list for this team. Well done boys.

Nathan Czinner attending an Australian U18 training camp for indoor hockey last holidays. He has also been invited to attend a camp at the Australian Institute of Sport next March for outdoor hockey as a part of the Futures Squad.
