Tasting Life after School

Twelve Cowra High students have taken the opportunity to explore life after school during Term 4.  An initiative of TaFE Western, the Youth Engagement Strategy is a nine session program on Fridays that allows students to participate in a range of courses offered at the Cowra campus. This taste of TaFE will give the students a chance to identify areas of interest and set goals for future direction.

The first session gave an insight into the hospitality industry where students baked chocolate chip muffins, fudge brownies, sausage rolls, mini pizzas and marinated chicken wings. They also whipped up milkshakes and smoothies impressing all with their cooking skills.​
