Hi RMPS families,

Hands up if you can't believe it's March already!?

March is a great month at Robbie Mac, because it's Art Show month! Make sure you check your eldest child's school bag for Art Show raffle tickets - they should be coming home this week. Swing past the office and you can see the raffle prize - it is such a gorgeous painting by Nadine Dudek who was last year's guest artist. And while you're at it, don't forget to purchase Opening Night tickets! Now available on Compass.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our icy pole fundraiser last week and yesterday! We are raising funds for giant chess pieces to go with the newly painted chess board up near the 5/6 class rooms. We have nearly raised enough to afford the pieces! Thank you to my parent helpers Dorte, Veryan and Kate, and a big thanks to all the grade 6 helpers!

Don't forget: our PFA AGM (annual general meeting) is next week - Monday March 7th at 7pm. All are welcome! We are looking forward to welcoming a new executive group to the PFA to help us steer our fundraising and support our community in 2022. If you are someone who is good with numbers and would be interested to join the PFA as treasurer, please let us know at rmps.pfa@gmail.com - the PFA would love to have you.

If you're not interested in joining the PFA exec - please do come along to the AGM anyway - we will be forming our 2022 plan so if you have an idea that you'd like to see become a reality this year, please bring it along to the meeting!

This is my last newsletter note as PFA President! I wanted to say thank you to everyone at Robbie Mac who has supported me in my role, and volunteered their time to improve our school. Biggest thanks to Kate (Secretary) and Karli (Treasurer) who stepped up to the PFA with me and have also decided to hand-over at this AGM. It's been a tough time to be part of the PFA, and I wish that we'd been able to bring our community together more often, but I'm pretty pleased with what we managed to achieve over the last couple of years and I hope you are too! I am looking forward to the remainder of the year as I know it's going to be a great one for Robbie Mac!
