Goodbye from Joan

Dear Parents & Carers,

I am writing to inform you that I won’t be returning to Jackson School.

I have enjoyed my leave and know that it is the right time for me to say goodbye to our school community. 

The sound educational practices of our school have continued, in spite of the COVID challenges, under the leadership Anthony Jackson. I would like to thank Anthony for his willingness, energy and passion in the role of Acting Principal.

In the last 8 years the staff of Jackson School have worked collaboratively to transform our school into a leading educational setting, that strives to engage all students. I say goodbye proudly and look forward to hearing of the continued improvement of the school.

Thank you to the many parents, carers, school council, community groups, local schools and wider community for working with me, to improve the opportunities for all of our students.

It has been a privilege to work in the role of Principal at Jackson School.
