Welcome Sylvia Gammon!

Hi :) I’m Sylvia. I’m so excited to be a French language assistant at CHPS this year. Here’s a bit about me:

Do you have a nickname? Yes! Most people call me Sylv, but a few family members have been calling me ‘Hoov’ since I was little because apparently my eating habits are not unlike a vacuum cleaner.

Where have you worked before?  I’ve worked at a café, as a babysitter and as a NDIS support person.

If money was no object, what would you do all day? I would probably follow the hot weather around and never leave the beach.

What is your favourite creative or relaxing outlet? Listening to music.

What is the best holiday you have ever taken and why? I was so lucky to spend 3 months in France when I was 16. I went to school there and lived with a host family. It’s my favourite holiday because I got to speak French, see a beautiful new country and meet lots of new people.
