A note from the Principal

Dear parents and carers,

I hope that you and your families are managing to stay safe and well. We thank everyone for their support in undertaking rapid antigen tests and keeping children home when unwell.

We have had a busy few weeks at school, with excursions taking place, swimming carnivals and wonderful learning taking place within classrooms and specialists sessions. Our new Foundation students are now at school five days a week and settling into school life well.

This Wednesday (March 9th) we are holding a Clean Up CHPS Day as part of Clean Up Australia Day. All classes will be participating to clean up an area of our school or Darling Gardens. It will also be a dress up day - students can bring a gold coin and dress up in green(optional). The best dressed class (the greenest) will win a plant for their classroom. Money raised will go towards buying food waste systems for our school gardens meaning that less of our food waste will end up in landfill.

There is a public holiday on March 14th and we wish you a safe and relaxing long weekend.

Take care,

Megan
