Xavier V’s Writing

CRASH! BOOM! There was illuminating lightning and rumbles of thunder. Echoes of strange animal noises filled the forest air. Misty fog covered the gloomy trunks of trees. The shining stars shimmered in the night sky. Mysterious animal footsteps scared other animals away.

Wild and Woolly stared into the gloomy pitch-black darkness. The trees stood over the children showing their dark, ominous shadows. Now the children were 10 times as scared as they were before.

“I-I’m sc-sc-scared! L-L-Let’s get out of h-h-here!” Wild stammered apprehensively.

“Oh come on Woolly! We don’t have time for tears!” whispered Woolly.

BOOM! The lightning strikes rumbled and shook the ground, illuminating the sky. Gloomy trees looked spooky. Ominous spiders crawled everywhere. Misty fog covered the trees and path. Howling wolves filled Wild and Woolly’s ears.

Wild and Woolly crept through the creepy forest. When they were walking, pitch-black fod blocked their path and the sky. Wild was spooked out and terrified! Woolly was being brave…. Kind of! Woolly and Wild were freaked out by the snakes going through them.

“Woolly,” said Wild, “I’m scared!”

Woolly looked at her brother.

“Stop being scared! Now come on!” She said. They continued walking.

“Please! Let’s get out of here!” Wild stammered.
