Hi all

On Monday, our girls netball team traveled to Springers for the Kingston Division finals.  They lost only one preliminary game by 3 goals to the eventual winner of the competition.  Well done to all of the girls involved and to coach Dani Gill for her support and direction.  They were a very competitive unit who performed well on and off the court..

We give a special thank you to the parents who networked amongst themselves to get the 9 girls to and from the event.  Bus prices have risen considerably since pre-covid days and are now $500 (or $55 per netball passenger) for an event like this.  Buses are now also very difficult to hire)  Again, I truly thank all of the Year 6 parents for the support and encouragement of our sports teams.

Our all school gymnastics program is going very well.  We are learning to roll, balance, bend, hold and land like a motorbike over apparatus such as the beam, vault, rolling wedge and the very popular Superman trolley.  The students were given homework this week.  They may need a little prompt at home.
