Year 8 Mothers and Mentors Morning Tea

On Tuesday 1 August the Year 8 students had the opportunity to take some time out of their day to think about and thank their mothers, grandmothers and mentors. With the help of our Head of Year and Form Teachers, the students were able to put together a morning tea. Students were also able to give their mothers, grandmothers and mentors a handwritten card along with a flower. We served our mums with their choice of tea and coffee along with a sweet and savory treat to show our appreciation for all that they do for us. With a photographer walking around, we were each able to have a photo taken with our mums.

The morning tea gave the mothers, grandmothers and mentors the opportunity to meet other students and mothers or to have a catch-up. It was a lovely morning that was enjoyed by all who attended.
