No School on Monday
A reminder to families that due to the Labour Day Public Holiday, there will be no school this coming Monday, March 9.
It's Not OK To Be Late
We would like to remind all families that school begins at 8:50am with a bell directing students inside to prepare for devotions. This is an important part of the school day at BHCS, and to have students coming into class after devotions have begun can be very disruptive. We understand that being late can't be helped sometimes, but on reviewing students' late arrivals in the first 4 weeks, some students have been regularly late to school. This is not OK, and the school will be following up students who continually arrive late to school. We may require these students to stay after school to make up the time they have missed.
It is important for students to develop good habits about being punctual and we hope that you can assist us by making 'being at school on time' a priority for your children.
Casual Cuppa
It was great to see so many Prep/1 mums come along to our first ever 'Casual Cuppa'.
It is a great place to meet new friends and swap stories and helpful hints.
Look forward to seeing all who have already come and to those who will be our newbies!
You are all very welcome.

Piercings at School
A letter went home recently to all Secondary families regarding piercings at School. We would like to remind families that the School's piercing policy states "Only two piercings in the earlobe are permissible. Piercings in the facial area or the tragus or cartilage of the ear are not permitted. Similarly piercings on arms, fingers, hands or legs or any normally visible part of the body are not allowed. Students will be asked to remove such piercings. Clear piercing jewellery is not acceptable if the piercing is in an area that is not permitted. Students will be asked to remove these." If a student cannot remove the piercing in question, they will be requested to refrain from returning to school until such time as it has been removed. We appreciate parents' support with this matter.
