This Week at OSHC - Sports!

This week at OSHC we dove into sports, Since the weather was so lovely this week we had picnics outside when we had our afternoon tea and then spent the majority of our time either playing soccer or football!

As it was principals' day this Friday, in the afternoons after we had tired ourselves out playing sports and came inside, we worked together writing letters and drawing pictures to show our appreciation to Mr. Webber to thank him for all the hard work he has put into the school since he has started and how happy and safe he makes the children feel at Anderson's Creek.

 Next Week at OSHC - Garden Week

In week two on Friday afternoon, the weather was too beautiful not to go outside and after playing on the playground the children voted to do some gardening in our veggie patch and pull out all the weeds! we spent our time pulling out the weeds, finding worms, looking for insects, and playing in the leaves. Which resulted in them asking if we could have a gardening week this term! 

So as requested by the children, week 4 is garden week so hold onto your gardening gloves and grab your compost as we get our hands dirty making paper seed pots, planting carrots, adding worms to our compost, making groovy grass hair friends, and crafting some awesome snails.

This is a friendly reminder to please ensure that you are booking your children into TheirCare if you require care prior to the day of. This ensures that you will be able to book your children in without going on a waiting list and allows us time to arrange staff for the amount of children booked. Unfortunately, We cannot take children into our care if they are not booked in and exceed our ratio. It is a requirement under the Education and Care Service National Law Act 2010 and the Education and Care Services National Law that we do not exceed our ratios. Thank you for your understanding and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
