Physical Education

The Preps and Grade 1 students had a great PE lesson on the sunny oval playing parachute games. We played cat and mouse, created a big bubble and ran under it, and also turned the parachute into a spacecraft where we all sat inside.

This week in PE the Grade 2 students started to work on the Fundamental Motor Skill of kicking.  We practised our kicking through various games and kicking to partners using the correct form and stopping technique. It was lots of fun.

The Grade 3 and 4 students are preparing for our Aths Carnival next week and got to practise hurdles, shot put and triple jump. All the students should be super proud of their efforts and giving all these events a go as they are tricky. I can't wait to see all the students next week compete in the Aths Carnival.
