Writing 

Over the past fortnight, students have been using their researching skills to find information and summarise it in their own words. Students have been practicing using multiple websites to check that the information they are collecting is relevant and accurate. They have been collecting their information and presenting it as a wanted poster. This allows students to showcase their writing in a different style. 

Respectful relationships  

Over the past fortnight, grade 6 students have been engaging in conversations about the best ways to deal with conflict and who they would go to when conflict may arise. The students undertook a role play, where they were given a scenario that they had to act out and then decide who they would talk to and how best to handle the situation !

Education in Faith 

This term, students will be collaborating in groups to prepare a prayer service to present to the other classes in our school. This process allows them to work in groups, to use their research skills and to look into different prayer resources. Students will be creating their own prayer that is related to a theme that they have chosen. This will be used in their prayer service. We are really excited to see how the students work together and to see the final service midway through the term. 

AFL Clinic

The students had a great time playing a range of games when we had an AFL workshop on Wednesday.
