Social-Emotional Learning

This term we will be focusing on developing learners’ ability to recognise the emotions of others around them, as well as developing their skills of working through a range of different emotions to support their learning and relationships at school. Throughout this term, we will continue to explore how the Zones of regulation can assist with supporting each other in our learning. The learners will deepen their understanding of what resilience is and how they can utilise strategies when they face challenges, in real life situations. We will be exploring and deepening our understanding of what it means to be flexible as well as exploring emotional literacy (being able to name and talk about what we are feeling).
