Teaching and Learning in 2C

2C have had a fantastic start to term 2 and we are learning so many new things every day! Grade 2 parents - if your children have been trying to persuade you to let them stay up late or have ice cream for dinner – that might be because we are learning all about persuasive writing and coming up with lots of persuasive arguments to convince our audience that our opinion is the best one! In numeracy we have enjoyed lots of hands on activities and games to develop our numeracy skills. 

We have been reading some amazing books to help us develop our comprehension skills. Miss Chen is super impressed with the efforts of our students and parents to complete home reading each weekday and we have already given out lots of home reading awards for 30 and 60 nights of reading. We are looking forward to lots more learning and fun throughout the rest of Term 2 - Keep up the great work 2C.
