The view from my window this week: inground services

We had a wonderful time last week celebrating all things wellbeing. The JSC leaders very proudly ran mindfulness sessions in their classrooms and all classes are focused on the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships curriculum at the moment.

The 3/4 Camp to Lyrebird Park was a HUGE success. Thank you so much to the parents and all the staff who attended. The feedback we have been receiving has been overwhelmingly positive. Everyone at the camp commented on how well behaved and considerate our children were. Hats off to everyone!

The 5/6 team are heading off to Forest Edge Camp next week. We wish you all the success the 3/4s had!

Literacy and Numeracy week is fast approaching. Students are invited to dress up as their favourite book character or maths character on Wednesday 30th August. Parents are welcome to come along at 2:45pm to watch the Parade on the oval (weather permitting).

Some reminders;

-The Crossing Supervisor on Haughton Parade has expressed some concerns regarding both driver and pedestrian behaviour. Please try to stay within the crossing lines when crossing, move quickly away from the area after crossing, and leave the crossing area clear from cars.

-The school uniform colour is navy blue (not black)

-Do you know what house is your child in? (Listed on their student profile in Compass)
