Living Things

This term we are learning about 'Living Things'.

Today we had our Wild Action Incursion, it was...AMAZING!! Take a look at some of our highlights.

Literacy

Grade 1 and 2 have been busy learning about the lifecycles of different living things and writing about them in the form of a poster, book or PowerPoint presentation. We have been reading lots of non-fiction books in class and talking about exciting facts we have been finding.

Numeracy

Grade 1 and 2 have been focussing on consolidating our understanding of addition and subtraction through the use of dominoes, and being able to see the friends of 10, doubles, near doubles and being able to count on from the largest number to find a total or if we have the total, to be able to identify what is missing.

Thank you everyone for attending the Mother's Day breakfast, STEAM afternoon and Grandparents and Special Persons Day. We have loved seeing everyone and working together as a community. Here are some highlights from our activities.
