As we came out of the bus, everyone was nervous for their race. We sat down on the grandstand waiting for the first race to start.

“The 9/10 year olds, please come to the oval,” said the announcer. 5 students went to the oval, preparing for the race. The person holding a flag swung it down and the girls were running! Everyone started cheering. “WOOHOO! GO ARPS!” The race was done in a few minutes and all our of girls are going to division!

The second race had started and everyone was cheering once again. The race was over and 2 people are going. The 11 girls and boys were done in around 15 minutes. They had done a good job.

Everyone received treats before and after their race so they had plenty of energy. The second last race has started and the 12/13 girls are running. “GO ARPS GO!” They went around and around until they passed the finish line. They were amazing runners. Now it was the last race. “Ready, set, GO!” The boys are sprinting hoping to win the race. The last race was a quick race so we finished the day before rain came.
