Athletics Carnival 2023

On Thursday 27 April, Mullauna College held their athletics carnival at the newly resurfaced Tom Kelly Athletics Track.

The day began in splendid colour with our House fashion parade followed by 138 track and field events and of course, the always popular novelty events. The student involvement in the carnival was good and in some track events 2 trials were run to accommodate the demand. Field events were full of eager students with the standard of jumps and throws very high.

The day finished with the Staff V Year 12 student relay. The effervescent staff stormed home in a surprise victory. The enthusiasm and support was electric. What a great day!

At carnival end, Bradman House took out the honours of winning the Cup with a total of

4539 points. Freeman House finished in second place on 3385 points, O’Neil House came third with a score of 2907 points and in fourth place was Rafter House with a score of 2213 points. Freeman House again took out the Spirit Award which included the novelty events and the fashion parade. Congratulations to both Freeman and Bradman for their wins on the day.
